Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m/4264 ft)
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, our tour/trekking leader will pick us up from the airport and make arrangement for the transfer to hotel. We can have a rest in the hotel and in the evening we will be joining for the welcome dinner where we can will tasting the authentic Nepalese food. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu: valley sightseeing and share the trek information.
Once we finish breakfast we will escorted by the tour leader as mentioned below sightseeing point: Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bauddha Nath. In the evening we will be joining for the brief meeting about our trek and get to know our team leader (trek guide).

Day 03: Drive to Dhunche Travel hours: 5-6 hours (Altitude: 2,030m )
We will begin our trek early in the morning. Following breakfast, our guide will assist you in getting to the Machha Pokhari Bus Station. From Kathmandu, we will take a bus to Dhunche (2,030m/6,660ft).

We will be able to enjoy the spectacular settlements and rolling hills along the way. It will take us about 5-6 hours to reach Dhunche via a beautiful scenic route and the immense Trishuli river.
Dhunche is a small settlement area and the administrative center of Rasuwa District. After arriving in Dhunche, we will walk around the village and interact with the locals. After an enjoyable evening with the locals, we will spend the night in a well-kept tea house. Overnight at Dhunche.

Day 04: Trek to Chandanwari Trek hours: 6-7 hours (Altitude 3200m)
After breakfast, we will proceed our day 2 trek from Dhunche and move up towards Chandanwari. After about 2 hours of hiking, we will arrive at Deurali (2,500m), a village on the way to Chandanbari with a few tea houses.
After 3 hours of hiking on a beautiful trail that passes through streamlets , we will arrive at Dhimsa (2,900m). The climb from Dhimsa is slightly difficult, as the trek moves up through beautiful pine forests. We must trek steep uphill sections to reach Chandanwari (3200m), a settlement nestled in such a pine forest. This location is also known as Sing Gompa. We’ll eat some delicious Yak cheese and then go to Sing Gompa. Overnight at Chandnanwari.

Day 05: Trek to Gosaikunda. Trek Hours: 5-6 hours (Altitude: 4361m)
We’ll trek uphill to Gosaikunda after a delicious breakfast in Chandanwari (4361m). Today’s trek will be slightly more difficult than yesterday’s.

From the start, the trail gradually rises. We will trek all the way to Gosaikunda on a rugged and narrow trail. As we ascend, you will have to walk through barren hills and encounter cold breezes. So, make sure you’re dressed warmly enough to stay warm in such a cold environment.

We’ll arrive in Cholangpaty after hiking for nearly an hour and a half (3500m). Mountain views such as Langtang Lirung (7234m), Langtang Ri (7205m), Manaslu (8163m), and Ganesh Himal (7422m) are now close and clear.

Another two hours of walking will get us to Lauribinayak (3900m). A panoramic view of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Masalu, and Langtang Ri can be enjoyed from Lauri Binayak.
Then, after about 2 hours of trekking, we will arrive at Sakyamuni Temple, which has both Hindu and Buddhist values. After a half-hour hike, we will see the first lake, Saraswati Kunda, followed by Bhairav Kunda and the Mighty Lake Gosaikunda. We’ll go to some other nearby lakes and spend the night in a tea house. Overnight at Gosaikunda.

Day 06: Trek back to Dhunche. Trek hours: 7-8 hours (Altitude: 2,030m)
We will have breakfast in our hotel while appreciating the beautiful morning. We’ll visit Gosaikunda before returning to Dhunche via Lauribinayak, Dhimsa, and Deurali.
Today is the last day of trekking. So, enjoy every step of the trek. We will be hiking downhills while admiring the exciting views of mountains, pine forests, and the flavorful Chandanwari cheese. Hiking will be easier and more enjoyable because we will be descending. We will also see various protected birds along the trail, such as the Wood Snipe, Snow Partridge, Tibetan Snow Cock, and so on. Overnight at Dhunche.

Day 07: Return to Kathmandu. Travel hour: 5-6 hours (Altitude: 1400m)
Our trek comes to an end today. We’ll have breakfast after a restful night’s sleep in one of Dhunche’s tea houses. Following breakfast, we will board a bus to Kathmandu and travel along a scenic route, praising the large Trishuli River, rolling hills, and scenery settlements.
We will arrive in Kathmandu after about 6-7 hours of riding. Our journey concludes here.
This trek will leave you with many memories to cherish. The mighty Gosaikunda lake, scenic trails, culturally-enriched Tamang people, Tibetan-influenced lifestyle, and delicious Yak’s cheese will be unforgettable experiences.

Day 08: Final Departure
Today signifies the conclusion of our absolutely amazing trip in the Lanatang region, which included holy Gosikunda Lake and magnificent high Himalayans.
Three hours prior to our departure time, a representative of the company will meet you from your hotel and transfer you to the airport.
